Rookies are cashing in. No experience in the league, no credibilty, who knows how they will adapt to the bigger, faster more physical league.  Number one pick Jake Long could retire tomorrow and walk out with 30 million dollars guranteed, this kid never even played a preseason game. Its just out of hand, I believe there should be a rookie salary cap just like there is in the NBA. The players need to prove themselves before getting the big dollars. The quarterback on the falcons can’t remember his name but this rookie is getting paid more than the proven Tom Brady over the course of the next five years. I would bet this kids gonna be a bust, he wont win more than 5 games, he wont be the center of the franchise, I just don’t think he has it in him.
