Seasons Over Boston Won, What did anyone expect

Published by ny_ill_will at 3:00 am under NBA To The NFL, Nba Edit This

Boston Celtics won the NBA championship, no one saw that one coming. With a virtually unstoppable starting lineup; A 7-0 all star rebounder and excellent shooter playing PF, An experienced 3 point championship winning 2 guard, an experienced team leadind small forward, and a  coach in dire need to redeem himself and his team for that abysmal 2007 season. Putting these four elements together all who are reaching the end of the road and desperately need a championship to make there hall of fame careers complete. The only thing holding them down would be the play of there less experienced point guard and center. Not only did they play exceptionally with the relentless ball stealing rondo and the defensive genius of Perkin’s, but there bench came out and outplayed the lakers starting offense. This was exactly what everyone predicted putting 3 superstars together could only bring a championship. So i’m happy Garnett finally has this monkey off his back and he is now “bonafide”, but does anyone believe they can repeat. The eastern conference still seems weak in comparison to the west but teams like Detroit and, clevend  may still be a threat to Boston. On the other side teams like the spurs, Lakers, jazz, mavericks, and hornets are getting stronger and have thee eyes on a championship. I think the Lakers will be the main threat with players like Bynum returning to make the starting five look almost as ridiculous as the Boston Big 3. Next year L.A will have Derek Fisher, Kobe Bryant, Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol, and Andrew Bynum that’s just sick. I expect another Boston and L.A. NBA finals making the rivalry as competitive and intriguing as ever.
